Message 1) There is not any oil under the car on the passenger side. That's what's kind of strange, it seems to be only on that line. However under the drivers side there are sometimes a few little spots (nickel/quarter size) that show. But I think I know where that is coming from as there is a lot of dirty oil residue that can be seen near the VTC on that side which I think needs to be resealed. (not sure where it could actually leak from the VTC?) The oil runs down the slant of the EGR tube and pools on the little accordian looking elbow joint at the rear of the plenum, then drips down on the turbo and down pipe and bakes there, and that which doesn't eventually works it's way down to the floor.

2) Car does not use a lot of oil that I have noticed. I use full synthetic. Been about 2.5k since last change and checked oil yesterday with engine cold and the level was fine.

3) Haven't noticed any smoke.

4) Car seems to drive fine, although after driving for more than 30 minutes you can definitely smell the smell of baking oil coming from driver's side down pipe.
